About Me
I have experience tutoring K-12 students in mathematics, ranging from teaching elementary school students how to add and subtract to helping high school students understand Calculus. Apart from mathematics, I have a deep passion for reading and writing. I served as a writing center tutor in my high school and delved deep into language and literature classes, as well as debate and creative reading and writing, which are all experiences that I am confident I can draw upon for tutoring in these subjects. I strive to tutor in a manner that is informative, engaging, and enjoyable, as I feel that it is possible to include all three of these elements into a tutoring experience without compromising on the quality and efficacy of the learning taking place. I am looking forward to working with you!
Hobbies & Interests
When I am not spending time with friends and family, you can find me playing tennis, hiking, reading a good book, or watching Netflix (I am always looking for suggestions for shows!). I love to keep myself active and explore new endeavors, which has led me recently to try my hand at painting and cooking; let's just say that both of these are works in progress... I also love working out and meditating, both of which keep me centered and on top of my game.
