My teaching philosophy is centered around building a deep understanding of the material, I have my students complete problems themselves and offer support and explanations when there is a question or a gap in their knowledge. I spend a lot of time thinking of ways to visualize complex topics, and finding ways to communicate over a wide range of learning styles. I am one of those who needs tactile, auditory and visual methods of learning to really deeply absorb a topic, so I try to listen to my students and approach their lessons with the lens which fits them best. I love big concepts and like to connect simple skills to the larger picture in a way that stops anyone from coming from a lesson saying "Why should I learn this?". No matter how old they are, or whether they are passionate about the subject, learning is a joy and I hope to impart that lesson above any other to my students. :)
