I am an instruction librarian at a university in Boston and a former classroom teacher. I hold a degree in education and a degree in English language and literature, as well as a teaching license from the state of Massachusetts. My experience in and out of the classroom, as well as my study of educational theory and practice, informs my teaching. I believe in combining evidence-based practices with a personalized approach to customize content, strategies, and materials to help each student learn best. The brain is always learning, and I do my best to help facilitate that process by collaborating with my students to make our sessions engaging, informative, and (dare I say it?) fun.
