About Me

I am laid back but ask my students to challenge themselves. I want learning to become part of everyday life, not an obligation. Tutoring writing, in particular, allows me to really see the whole process of thinking for a student. From the formulation of an idea, to finding a voice, to going through the details of an argument, writing offers insight into the key learning practices of a student. I love to be a part of this process, guiding and learning alongside.
