About Me

Hello! My name is Alexis. I am originally from Phoenix, Arizona where I attended both University of Arizona and Arizona State University to study Theatre Arts and Communication. During my time there, I led a few different projects, including a theatre festival, so I am well-versed in leadership, presentation, and public speaking. In May 2017, I will be obtaining my MFA in Acting from Brown University. On top of acting and performance, I love to write, read (when I have the time), and create. I am an actor/director/theatremaker first and foremost. I believe in the power of the voice and that everyone has a right to be heard. I love watching people emerge from behind the walls we all put up to protect ourselves. I try to encourage everyone I work with to be in charge of their voice and how they use it and to not be afraid to be seen. We all contain so much wonderful potential and I enjoy watching people tap into that!
