I firmly believe learning any subject matter is not tied only to the classroom. There are so many resources that are now readily available to be able to comprehend and dialogue to. As a tutor I believe it is not just my responsibility to provide material and ideas to get the student to understand but to be able to find the energy and motivation to stay focused and get through the lesson as quickly and efficiently as possible. The ability to be able to engage to something new and finding meaning to finally understand something we are having trouble comprehending, is equally rewarding as it is a confidence booster. The more fun we can make the lesson the more memorable the information being given can be.
