I earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Butler University in 2004. After graduating from Butler, I enrolled in a PhD program at the University of Georgia. At Georgia, I was doing research and taking classes, but I was also a teaching assistant. I fell in love with teaching and ended up leaving Georgia to pursue my Masters degree in Education and my teaching license. I began teaching high school chemistry in 2008 and earned my Masters in Education from Indiana University in 2010. I have been teaching high school chemistry and honors chemistry since 2008 and have loved every minute of it. I am rated highly effective in my evaluations as a high school teacher teaching chemistry.
