About Me

I graduated from Sewanee: The University of The South in 2015 with a degree in English and Music, two subjects for which I have an unabating passion. While in High School, I had a teacher that helped me find personal meaning within the poems and stories that we read, and that revelation has shaped the course of my life. I want to help other students find that personal connection in their studies, as I believe that is the key to learning. As a musician, I have played the Saxophone for thirteen years, studying under the instruction of Dr. Cesar Leal as I pursued my undergraduate degree.
