About Me

I am a kind, patient, and encouraging tutor with over 15 years of experience teaching online. My passion is creating a learning environment where students feel safe, seen, and heard, allowing them to be themselves and ask questions without fear. I have worked for a variety of ESL and ELA companies, helping students from all over the world achieve their goals. I specialize in tutoring ESL and English Language Arts (ELA). I also have extensive experience tutoring grammar and literature. My favorite subject to teach is ESL because I love learning about foreign languages and other cultures. My education includes an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts from Muscatine Community College, a Bachelor's in English from Jacksonville State University, and a significant portion of my upper-level coursework toward an MA in English at Southern New Hampshire University. When I'm not teaching, my hobbies include reading, sketching, and writing. I also love learning foreign languages and anything to do with cats!
