About Me

My name is Stephanie. I graduated in 2013 with a double degree in Psychology and Foreign Languages (French and Spanish) from Assumption College in Worcester, MA. I also graduated with an MS in Organizational Psychology from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, MA in 2015. I started tutoring in high school as part of a volunteer tutoring program in Providence, RI. While studying abroad in France, I worked with 1st and 4th graders teaching them English and also working one-on-one with children, teaching them Reading, Spelling, and writing. I was very impressed watching the children improve week after week with my help and my guidance during tutoring hours. My passion is to help students improve their French assimilation with the language, the culture and the way of life. I would also gain from the tutoring by practicing the language with a student and share my knowledge with someone else. I am also available to tutor English and Psychology. In order to further help the students whom I tutor, I use different teaching styles based on the student's learning style for example whether visual, kinesthetic, or aural.
