About Me

I am a third-year Psychology major at Reed College in Portland, OR. I work as a researcher in a cognitive neuroscience lab studying human perception, and I am interested in pursuing a graduate degree in neuroscience. I have always been drawn to tutoring and mentorship roles, beginning when I joined my high school's Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program as a peer tutor. Currently, I tutor other students at my college in Writing and Humanities through my college's Academic Support Center. I love helping students feel more comfortable with all aspects of the writing process, including brainstorming ideas, creating strong arguments, and outlining/revising written assignments. I also enjoy working with students on the SAT, especially the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section. In my spare time, I'm hiking, making music, and learning programming languages!
