About Me

I'm a writer and teacher who just moved back to New York from Colorado. I received my BA from Columbia in 2012 (I studied creative writing), and I graduated from the fiction MFA program at Colorado State University in 2015. I have three years experience teaching English at Colorado State University, where I created my own curricula for my composition courses and worked extensively with my students one-on-one. I have additional experience as a writing center tutor and an editor, the latter for the Columbia Spectator and the Colorado Review. Outside of the classroom I've received two fiction fellowships - one from the magazine "A Public Space" and the other from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, MA. Hobbies: running, art, sports, movies, reading, writing, books, music
