About Me

I am a PhD student in Politics at the University of Virginia. I came to graduate school because of love of learning and teaching. Learning and teaching are really two sides of the same coin. To learn something new and not to impart it to anyone is empty, while teaching without learning is meaningless. Before I started graduate school I taught English and related subjects to college students in China for five years. Living and working abroad, as well as teaching abroad, was an amazing experience which helped me learn how to deal with a wide variety of situations.
