I am a graduate of Southern Nazarene University with a Bachelors of Science in Theology and a graduate of the University of Phoenix with a Masters in Education/Adult Education and Training. Since returning to the United States, I have worked in several venues providing linguistic translation services and assisting in ESL assignments. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am passionate about comparative religion, Spanish and SAT prep. I am a believer in practical based application and will always bring learning back to the "Why". I believe that this not only enhances a deeper understanding of a subject but also encourages overall retention. In my spare time, I enjoy a work-life balance that includes weight-lifting, podcast binging, meditation and yoga, reading and novel writing along with an occasional visit to Children's Mercy Park to see KC Sporting win another match.
