It is with great pleasure that I would like to share my knowledge of French aka "la langue de Moliere." I am a native French speaker and have completed the majority of my secondary education in a French school. My passion for foreign languages has led me to obtain a degree in foreign languages (Spanish)and learn two additional languages (Haitian Creole and Cape Verdean Creole). Through my previous work as a tutor and current professional experience as an adjunct faculty, I have realized that I truly enjoy teaching. As someone who had to learn how to speak a new language (English) at the age of 15, I understand the challenges of it; and the rewarding feeling of being able to have an entire conversation in a newly learned language. For this reason, ensuring that my students have the confidence to speak the language is a priority. For my lesson plans, I strive for an appropriate balance of grammatical and vocabulary lessons along with a focus on the practical use of the language. I also believe in using learning strategies that are compatible with the learners own style.
