My career began in Hamburg, Germany, where I earned my CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). There, I taught Business English to adults, as well as school English to students in grades four through ten. I love meeting new people and learning about new cultures; teaching English has given me the chance to work with learners from all over the world and at every level of English. I studied abroad in Bonn, Germany, and then lived in Hamburg for four years. While in Germany, I was certified German Level C1 from the Goethe Institut. Language learning has always been a passion of mine, along with traveling and broadening my horizons. In my free time, I take improv classes at Second City, am involved in musical comedy improv groups, play board games with my friends, and enjoy tennis and volleyball.
