About Me
Bonjour! Ca va? I studied and lived abroad in Southern France for four months and I lived in Paris while interning with the French government and social services system! While living abroad, I have learned a lot about their culture and have improved my accent as well! I tutor French and algebra. I love teaching these subjects because I find languages very useful in our lives. Without language, how would we communicate with one another? I love math as well because I love understanding the concept behind a problem and being able to use that to figure out the rest of the problems. I am passionate about helping students because I believe they are the future. Students have the greatest possibility and opportunity to make a change in themselves and the world. By gaining more knowledge, we an positively affect our environment and influence the people around us. During a mission trip, I taught second grader classes about the government, politics, commuit, and taxes to name a few. At the Junior Achievement facility, I taught fifth graders about entrepreneurship, workplace readiness, and financial literacy. Additionally, I was a math and science tutor everyday in high school. These experiences set a foundation to enable me to effectively teach students in different disciplines.
