As a Spanish tutor, I think it is very important to review material, have time for questions, and encourage students to understand the language as a whole. I find that expanding vocabulary helps students to express themselves more clearly, breaking down grammar helps the students correctly insert verbs and conjugations into their sentences, and introducing common phrases or greetings helps students understand the cultural values of different Spanish speaking countries.
