I have over two years' experience tutoring languages, including English and Spanish. Language lessons with me will be immersion style, with the entire 90-minutes taught in either English or Spanish (with exceptions made for extreme confusion of course!).I am a published author and write every day. I studied creative writing in college, which means I took classes in journalism, poetry, and prose writing. I also studied anthropology, which means that I spent most of my days writing essays. I can help you find your voice and write with authority. I can help you structure essays in all forms (persuasive, expository, research, college admissions, etc). I will help you edit essays and learn techniques to edit more effectively on your own. I have worked professionally as an anthropologist and pursued original ethnographic research in Gujarat, India. My research concerned issues of religion and society. I have extensive knowledge about South Asian religion (especially Hinduism and tribal religion), and have also studied Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, and Judaism from a social science perspective. I can help you understand religious theory and apply it to particular texts and case studies. The same is true for any topic in socio-cultural anthropology.
