I found tutoring to be a really enjoyable and rewarding experience when I tutored during my undergraduate time at the local middle school (which is part of the grade levels I am certified to teach). Even though I am capable of tutoring most areas of Social Studies I have a real passion for American History and Civics. My tutoring philosophy reflects my desire to educate all students regardless of race, gender, or economic status. As an educator, it is my responsibility and desire to help each student meet their fullest potential. I plan to educate the whole child; emotionally, socially, physically, and cognitively. I plan to match my tutoring strategies to the learning style of each student. I will differentiate my lessons to make them relevant to all students. I am an avid Cleveland sports fan, always rooting for my hometown's sports teams. I love being active outside and in the gym. And at the end of the day I do love to relax and watch either a funny movie or reading a comic.
