I emphasized beginning vocabulary and verb conjugations and integrated games, music, homework, cooking and classroom projects. I also coached fellow undergraduates in navigating French grammar, syntax and pronunciation, paying special attention to helping them develop effective time management and study methods. While I do specialize in French, I also tutor in English grammar and mechanics, essay writing and editing, and study skills and organization. I am a firm believer that organized writing is an invaluable lifeskill, regardless of academic area of interest, and love helping students realize their full writing potential for success in the classroom and beyond. I also believe students get out of their education precisely what they put into it, and strive to show them the value of dedication and hard work. In my spare time, I love getting creative in the kitchen, reading, practicing Pilates, and staying involved with a Chicago-based food blog.
