I was a Teaching Assistant at the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University working as an editor and TA for English essay grading, from 2013 to 2014. I was a tutor at the Rosedale Achievement Center for Girls during the spring of 2012. I taught health classes to freshman at Bronx public high schools from 2010-2011. I was an assistant violin teacher at the Mind Builders Creative Academy from 2011 to 2014.I am a great tutor because I help students break down complicated and difficult assignments into manageable tasks and goals. This is because I believe students perform best in school when they understand concepts instead of using memorization, which does not provide a stable foundation for more complex work in the future. I love working with young people and helping them to link their coursework to their own personal development and the world they live in.
