I graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Literary and Cultural Studies and a minor in Film Studies. Throughout the latter part of my undergraduate career and continuing into my graduate career I have attended department-wide workshops that encourage students of all writing levels to attend. At these meetings essays of all variants are edited for grammar, mechanics, and overall content. I have helped countless students through these workshops and hope to continue my efforts in a professional capacity. I have a relaxed and encouraging style. I enjoy helping students of all writing levels delve into their essays and find the root of their interest. Regardless of writing level every essay has a truly unique perspective and I take great pride in helping others discover the nature of their work when they are uncertain of what they are trying to say. Outside of my studies I continue to read and watch movies. I use these leisure activities to influence my work as often as I can by inserting them as topics for discussion in my own essays. This helps me remember that studying and learning should always be fun.
