My teaching philosophy is to make the content interesting and above all to have fun. I believe we should all be free to make mistakes and to learn from them and along the way build the confidence to grow into learning. I hold an M.A. from the American University's School of International Service in International Communications and a B.A. in Comparative Literature from the University of California at Irvine. I have approximately three years of teaching experience, completed at the College of New Rochelle and have tutored students as a volunteer in communications related courses. I enjoy courses that are in communications and writing because I believe in the changing global economy the next generation of students needs to learn these critical skills in order to compete. My hobbies are various. I enjoy outdoor activities such as biking and hiking and am an avid collector of Afro-Latin music. I enjoy travel travel and have been to over 12 countries abroad and lived in Italy for one year.
