About Me

As a tutor, I love getting to help people who have an interest in Chinese language and culture learn more. I obtained my bachelor degree in English from South China Normal University. During that time, I used to work as an ESL teaching assistant for non-English speaking students in my school. As a language student myself who has studied English intensively for more than 10 years, my experience tells me that it is important to “speak out” while you are learning a new language. Therefore, I highly encouraged my students to open their mouths and speak English during each training session. As a native speaker of a language that is now becoming one of the most commonly spoken in the world, I am proud to be helping build this communication bridge to people interested in learning Chinese.
