I am well versed in both subject areas. My student evaluations were always very high, and I focused on making History fun and relevant to things happening today. I try to take history from boring facts to interesting connections that tell a story and explain why events come about.

I am currently a student at the University of Texas at Arlington working towards my Masters in Linguistics, which I intend to use to continue teaching English language at a private or public school. I am also employed as a reading comprehension and vocabulary teacher at the Nepali Cultural Center in Irving. I have traveled to 15 countries including Lebanon and the Czech Republic, and I love reading, coffee, shopping, tech gadgets, creative writing, and singing karaoke in my spare time.

I am a graduate from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing and minoring in Design.I believe in a firm but encouraging and confidence-building teaching style and my ability to motivate others and provide a support system for students make me confident in the significant contribution I can bring to Varsity Tutors as an Academic Tutor.
