I am a graduate of the Universities of Saarbrcken and Berlin in Germany, and hold degrees in German Law and Literature.

I am very flexible with teaching, ethics and focus on student needs, styles and interests. In languages especially, I can bring students to great leaps in proficiency through low-stress, research-backed methods like immersion in "comprehensible input" and learning through stories and cultural material with lots of context.

I'm a passionate and enthusiastic teacher with extensive experience working with learners of all ages from curious 4-year-olds to motivated seniors. I especially love working with young children and creating playful, engaging lessons that make learning feel like an adventure.

I am a bilingual certified (English-Spanish) speech-language pathologist with certification in special education. I graduated summa cum laude from New York University. I have over 10 years of experience with tutoring and I always tailor my teaching technique to the individual student. I am very patient and I believe that dedication and practice are the keys to academic success. I always aim to leave my students more independent and confident in their academic ability.

I am also an accomplished pianist with a classical background, and very much enjoy teaching piano to students of any level. As an undergraduate teaching assistant for college level Music Theory and Keyboard Harmony courses over multiple semesters, I am also happy to teach musical interpretation and theoretically informed performance practice.
