I am a graduate of Texas Christian University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Economics and Political Science. During this time, I was a tutor for the Departments of Economics and Mathematics, where I gained a passion for seeing the "click" of knowledge, where information becomes made personal. Since graduation, I have have been pursuing my Master of Public Administration at the University of Kansas. My career mission is to work in City Management, applying math, social sciences, communication, and other fields to serve the public in a multidisciplinary manner. I am a firm believer in being a well-around, global citizen, so that entails being moderately versed in many fields of study. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Economics, Math, and Standardized Testing. I believe that education is the path to an enlightened life, so I look forward to joining you on that journey. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, film/television, stand-up comedy, and playing/watching all sports.

I am a graduate of Hamilton College in upstate NY and recently received my Master's degree in Physiology & Biophysics from Stony Brook University. I am a pre-med student with a Bachelor's degree in Economics with minors in Chemistry and Biology. I will be starting medical school in the fall and have experience in the application process. I enjoy providing advice and feedback to individuals who are on a similar track.I am the oldest of 4 children, therefore I have a lot of experience with helping young students learn, as well as a lot of patience. Most recently, I worked as a STEM instructor at Launch Math and Science Centers in NYC on the Upper West Side. That experience made me realize how passionate I am about engaging students in the STEM field and education in general and how important it is to make learning a fun process. I love tutoring students in math, science, and economics because I have a strong background and foundation in these areas. I also wish that I had been introduced to the STEM and economics fields at a younger age, therefore my goal with tutoring is to inspire the students that I work with. I love tutoring in economics because I believe it provides essential concepts for any field that a student is eager to pursue. For example, I have found economics to be extremely applicable to the healthcare field, which is one of the main reasons that I chose to major in it.In addition, I lived abroad in Morocco for 10 years and had the opportunity to help students prepare for their AP exams and applications to universities in the United States. My long-term career goals include going to medical school and becoming an Ob/gyn. I hope to someday treat women in underserved regions of the world. In the meantime, I enjoy working in my research lab, cooking, traveling, and kickboxing.

I recently graduated from Oklahoma City University with a major in economics and a minor in mathematics.I have had over 6 years of experience as a private tutor, I work with several online tutoring services, and while I was in college I worked with my school's tutoring center. While I am qualified to tutor many subjects, my favorite subject by far is math, specifically calculus. Math is a subject almost universally hated, and I believe that is mainly due to the narrow way in which it is taught. I have ADHD, and I often don't understand things the first time they are explained to me, meaning over the years I have had to figure out different ways of looking at information. Oftentimes, all a student needs is for something to be explained in a different way, and I love watching people finally understand a concept. Everyone learns differently, but everyone can learn.

I'm a freshman here at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. I graduated from Wayzata High, and I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in neuroscience. At the University, I'm usually in class, studying, hanging out with my friends, or at club meetings! In my free time, I love to breakdance, write poetry, debate politics and economics, and participate in practically every nerdy endeavor possible (huge Star Wars fan!!). I love to talk and will talk your ear off if you let me! I love trying new things, exploring the city, and traveling. My teaching philosophy is that teaching is a responsibility and a privilege; I'll put 110% into teaching if you put the same effort into learning. With hard work and patience, anything is possible!
