My love of teaching began at age eight when I taught my four year old sister to read and do math, up to multiplication before kindergarten. In July 2019, I was selected as a Fulbright Scholar to Moldova and attended orientation. In September 2019, I flew to Moldova and began my Fulbright journey. During my time in Moldova, I was an English and Spanish professor at a university called Comrat State University. The students in my classes were very diverse in terms of ages and languages. They ranged from high school students to the mayor of the city of Comrat and included Russian, Romanian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Bulgarian and Gagauz speakers.
