As a certified physician assistant and avid learner myself, my passion is to help physician assistant students prepare for a fulfilling career by first successfully passing the PANCE.While the PANCE may seem like an overwhelming and daunting task, I can help streamline materials and key points to focus on, as well as provide testing "tips and tricks" in order to succeed. I will work with you as much as our schedules allow to make you feel more comfortable and confident moving forward with the exam.I graduated PA school in December 2018 and passed the PANCE in early January 2019. I have stayed up-to-date with PA course materials as I also plan to teach as a adjunct professor in the near future. I currently work as a internal medicine and rheumatology PA, and previously worked in orthopedics and cardiothoracic surgery for two years immediately following my PA certification.Prior to attending PA school, my educational journey began as an athletic training and exercise science major in my undergraduate studies. I successfully passed my athletic training board of certification exam and then began my Master's of Science in Orthopedics degree. During this time, I also passed the boards to become a certified orthopedic assistant and certified surgical first assistant.As previously mentioned, I am a lifelong learner who hopes to help others achieve their dreams by becoming a certified physician assistant; and as stress-free as possible! Since a young age, I have always been passionate about sharing what I have learned with others. I have experience in teaching and tutoring in social work field education to Master's level students. The subjects range from social work ethics, LMSW test prep, case management, social justice policy and psychology 101. All subjects are my favorite to teach. In 2020, I graduated from the University of Louisville with my Master's of Science in Social Work with a Specialization in Military Social Work. In college, I showed an interest in these particular subjects, since I knew that I would be applying what I have learned in my future career as a social worker. While in college, I have learned that everyone has their own way of learning and processing knowledge. I work with all four different types of learning styles: visual, auditory, kinetic, and reading/writing. I make learning fun and interesting by giving examples of how to apply what is learned to real life. Cramming or rushing to learn a subject is not always wise. You will feel motivated to learn when you have someone who will work with you at your own pace, I am great at doing that! Outside of academia, I love to read, travel when I can, and most importantly spending time with my loved ones and pets.

I am a graduate from University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) with a degree in Biology. I am currently pursuing my Doctoral of Dental Medicine degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM). During my time at UMBC, I served as a teaching assistant in chemistry and biology classes ranging from introductory biology to more advanced courses that I had previously taken. I also served as a tutor in my time at UMBC a wide variety of subjects in the science categories. In my time at HSDM, I have served as a tutor for Mission Crimson, where I was paired one-on-one with a 5th grader whom I helped with reading, math, and English skills in preparation for a standardized exam. I have worked with all ages ranging from preschool through adults. I currently teach online ESL classes to South Korean adults in order to help them succeed in the workforce. As for my education, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English, Language and Literature, along with a Master's Degree in Secondary Education.I am married and have a seven year old daughter.
