I am a currently college student at DePaul University, majoring in History with a minor in Museum Studies, but I have a special interest in fashion history. I've been a straight A student my whole life and love helping and teaching others. I've worked on an off with academic tutoring over the years but have also taught children's theater (as I was a big theater kid growing up). I'm currently in the last 2 years of my bachelor's degree and am planning on getting a masters as well. My favorite subjects to tutor are english reading and writing and history because those were also my favorites in school, and I focus on tutoring middle and high school enligish and history with some ACT prep as well. I am a world traveler and love reading, shopping, and doing yoga in my free time! I believe that understanding your learning style and the way you process new information is key to being successful! I am also a big supporter of organizational strategies (like planners and lists), lots of drafts, and giving yourself the time to sit back and re-read your work to make sure it's something you are proud of. I would love to help any students feel more confident in their work and enjoy the school experience as education is the foundation for an enriching life.
