As a native Spanish speaker from Puerto Rico and a current medical student, I have always found language to be a powerful bridge between people, cultures, and opportunities. My background in teaching ranges from leading medical Spanish workshops for students to translating and coordinating care for patients in clinical settings. These experiences have deepened my commitment to making Spanish accessible, engaging, and relevant to every learner. I believe language learning is not just about vocabulary and grammar, but also about connecting to a culture and finding confidence in communication. My goal as a tutor is to meet students where they are, nurture their growth with patience and encouragement, and help them discover the joy and empowerment that comes with learning Spanish.

Beyond academics, I am certified in both yoga and Pilates, which reflects my love for health, balance, and mindful movement. Teaching fitness and yoga has strengthened my ability to guide others with clarity, motivation, and compassion—skills that I also bring into tutoring. I enjoy cooking traditional Puerto Rican dishes, traveling, and spending time with family. I am also passionate about service and advocacy, having founded a women’s health education organization and volunteered at free clinics. These personal interests keep me grounded, creative, and energized, and they inspire the holistic and supportive approach I take with students.
