Certified Tutor

I graduated from Covenant College in May 2025 with a Bachelor's degree in History and a minor in Political Science. In August 2025, I will attend George Washington University's Elliot School of International Affairs, where I will pursue a master's degree in Security Policy Studies.

At Covenant College, I worked in the History Department as a teacher's assistant and tutor. I helped fellow students edit essays, prepare for tests, and adjust to the professors' different teaching styles. One of my most common responsibilities was helping students correct the format of their essays to fit the notes-bib Chicago/Turabian citation style.

My historical period of interest is modern world history (19th, 20th, and 21st century history). I am particularly interested in post-WWII history and international relations during the Cold War.

I wrote my Bachelor's thesis on Mao Zedong's motivations for pursuing nuclear weapons. This topic allowed me to explore the Cold War relationships between China, the Soviet Union, and the US and how those relationships impacted each of the respective leaders and helped shape their decisions.
