As a dedicated tutor with a Bachelor's in Applied Psychology and Public Policy from NYU, and currently pursuing a Master's in Public Administration at NYU Wagner, I am passionate about helping students build confidence and clarity not just in their academic material, but also in themselves. With over two years of experience working with diverse learners in both classroom and one-on-one settings, I specialize in subjects such as AP Psychology, AP U.S. Government & Politics, and writing comprehension. My teaching philosophy is centered around understanding each student's unique strengths and stressors, allowing me to tailor my approach to their individual learning styles. I employ real-world applications and active learning strategies, encouraging students to connect complex concepts to their lives. I believe that education should be engaging and relevant, and I am excited to support students on their journeys toward academic success while fostering their curiosity and independence.
Outside of tutoring, I love creative writing, cooking new recipes, and exploring NYC's neighborhoods. I'm passionate about mental health advocacy and often volunteer with youth-focused programs. I also enjoy hiking when I'm home in Colorado, playing with my dog, and discovering cozy coffee shops to read in. Whether it's helping students build confidence or finding the best spot for cookies, I bring curiosity and care into everything I do.
