As a passionate fourth-year Biochemistry student at the University of Virginia, I have over 2 years of tutoring experience in chemistry and life sciences, with a focus on Organic Chemistry 2. My approach to tutoring is highly student-centered; I tailor lesson plans to meet the individual needs of each student, breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps. I believe that fostering an approachable environment encourages students to ask questions and engage with the material. My experience includes working with students from middle school to college, and I find immense satisfaction in guiding them through challenging topics, as I once faced similar hurdles. Outside of academics, I enjoy participating in Science Olympiad, which allows me to continue sharing my love for science. I am eager to help students not only understand the subject matter but also develop a lasting interest in the sciences.
