I am Ransom Fox, a dedicated tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from George Mason University, complemented by a minor in Legal Studies and coursework in Economics at the University of Oxford. While I don't have formal tutoring experience, I have over two years of working with middle school students as a football coach, where I taught not only technical skills but also essential life lessons. My current job in the federal government has honed my ability to break down complex topics into digestible concepts, a skill I believe is vital for effective tutoring. I am particularly passionate about high school and middle school civics, history, economics, reading, and writing. I also took seven AP courses myself and am passionate about helping students think critically at a college-esque level. I strive to create an engaging learning environment that fosters curiosity and critical thinking. My goal is to inspire students to not only understand the material but to develop a lifelong love for literature, civic engagement, economics, and learning in general! I look forward to making a positive impact on my students' academic journeys.
