I tutor because I'm passionate about helping students achieve their goals and have fun with learning. I believe every student should have the chance to master their skills and showcase their knowledge. My teaching style is a mix of hardworking and creative; I believe there's a place for both direct instruction and letting the student's unique intelligence thrive. I graduated from the University of Akron in Ohio with a degree in media studies, and I am currently working towards my degree in AYA Integrated Social Studies. I'm a tutor who mostly focuses on European history, American history, government, and any other social studies topic! My favorite subject to tutor is European history, but British history in particular fascinates me. Outside of tutoring and school, I love to read, knit, bake, and attend musicals at local theaters!

My interests and hobbies include reading, knitting, cross stitch, baking, and listening to music. I try to read a variety of genres, but some of my favorites are historical fiction, mystery and romance. When I'm listening to music, it can vary from Taylor Swift to the Wicked soundtrack!
