I hold a Master's in Education from the College of Saint Catherine and a Bachelor's in Education with a focus on History from Marquette University. With over 10 years of experience in both tutoring and classroom teaching, I specialize in AP U.S. Government, Human Geography, U.S. History, reading and writing, and Spanish, among other subjects. My teaching philosophy centers on building strong rapport with students, allowing me to tailor my approach to their unique strengths and challenges. I am passionate about helping students make connections between historical events and their own lives, fostering critical thinking and effective writing skills. My experience as a high school teacher has equipped me with the tools to support diverse learners, and I find joy in facilitating one-on-one interactions that empower students to succeed academically.
