When I got to college, I never thought I would enjoy tutoring, let alone teaching, but I fell in love with it. I am passionate about helping students and being able to help them see their potential. I was a student who felt that I was behind other students and not as smart as the others. Coming to college and realizing the potential I had made me want to show other students the potential they have. I have worked with students for 2 years and love seeing how their face lights up when they begin to understand the material. I loved seeing them come to my office when I worked at college, looking defeated and leaving feeling confident in their abilities. I received my bachelor's in Psychology from Lenoir Rhyne University in May of 2025, and I am currently enrolled at Lenoir Rhyne to obtain my masters in clinical mental health counseling. I was a writing tutor and a teacher's assistant so I enjoy tutoring writing, speeches, and helping students with research and APA formatting. I was not only able to help students taking English classes, but also any student who had to write any type of paper or essay for their class.
