Certified Tutor
I am currently studying Economics and Mathematical Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis. My academic background includes extensive coursework across a wide range of mathematical subjects, including elementary and middle school math, algebra, geometry, calculus, linear algebra, and probability theory. I have experience tutoring students of various grade levels and from diverse backgrounds.
While I tutor many areas of mathematics, I am particularly passionate about helping students build strong foundations in elementary, middle school, and high school math, as well as preparing for standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT. I also enjoy teaching calculus and more advanced topics, always emphasizing problem-solving skills and deep conceptual understanding. I believe that with the right guidance, mindset, and approach, every student can learn to appreciate - and even enjoy - mathematics. My tutoring style is rooted in patience and empathy; I take the time to understand each student's perspective and tailor my instruction to address their specific needs.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy playing basketball, learning chess, and volunteering in my community.
