Supporting students on their educational journey has always been a deeply meaningful pursuit for me. I believe that learning opens doors to confidence, opportunity, and self-discovery and being part of that transformation is incredibly rewarding. Every student deserves a learning environment where they feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with students across a range of ages and abilities, including in classroom settings, small groups, and one-on-one support. These experiences have helped me become flexible, attentive, and responsive to individual learning needs. I've seen how a well-timed explanation or encouraging word can shift a student's perspective and rekindle their motivation.

I completed my education at the University of Texas at Arlington, earning a degree in Public Health, and I'm currently pursuing further education in nutrition. I tutor a variety of elementary subjects, including reading, writing, and math, and my favorite subject to tutor is math. I enjoy showing students that math can be approachable and even fun when it's broken down into understandable steps. It's incredibly fulfilling to help students move from confusion to clarity and watch their confidence grow as they master new concepts.

My teaching philosophy centers on patience, encouragement, and building on students' strengths. I use a tutoring style that is structured yet warm, with an emphasis on growth mindset and active participation. I believe in asking open-ended questions, encouraging curiosity, and celebrating progress in all its forms.

Outside of academics, I enjoy exercising to stay healthy, traveling to new places, and spending time with my family. These interests keep me grounded and help me connect with students on a personal level, which I believe is key to effective teaching.
