Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of North Carolina State University studying both Agroecology and Computer Science. In 2019, after graduating high school, I began tutoring professionally for a variety of websites, maintaining a 5 star rating over many years of students. I tutor in a variety of subjects, but I enjoy math and science the most, primarily Calculus, Chemistry, and Discrete Math. Solving problems in these subjects is like solving a puzzle, so I love to help my students see the pieces and how they fit together. To this end, I engage my students in conversation and ask them questions to encourage critical thinking. We'll usually talk over practice problems and hands-on work to apply the concepts we've covered.

My goal is to provide a safe, relaxed environment so my students are not afraid to make mistakes or ask questions if they're confused. In my free time, I enjoy a healthy dose of video games, playing and coaching Roller Derby, and spending time with my friends.
