I am a student at The City College of New York, working towards my Bachelor of Science in Biology. I started tutoring when I was in high school and have tutored students from elementary school through high school. Despite tutoring for many subjects, I am mostly passionate about Math and Science but also love to teach English. In my years of tutoring students, I have found that consistency and active recalling have helped my students improve greatly in their academics. Additionally, I create learning plans personalized to each student to help them learn based on the students' effective learning style while creating a positive environment for students to build their confidence. I implement regular communication with parents and students to ensure both parties' needs are met whilst adjusting my teaching as needed. As someone who prioritizes education, I hope to influence my students to think the same through consistency and persistence.

My interests include science, especially biology as it is so broad that there are so many areas to be discovered. Beyond academics, I enjoy baking, cooking, reading, and working out in my spare time. Baking and cooking are very therapeutic activities for me while reading, especially fictional books, helps me to unwind every day. These interests and hobbies help me to balance my life positively.
