I am Jwana Mazahreh, a passionate educator with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, specializing in Social and Behavioral Sciences, and minors in Biology, Chemistry, and Business Management from The College of New Jersey. With over 5 years of tutoring experience, I specialize in subjects such as ACT, Arabic, and both high school and college-level Biology and Chemistry. My teaching philosophy centers on making complex concepts accessible and engaging, fostering curiosity and confidence in my students. I have a background in classroom instruction as an Arabic teacher, where I designed courses that enhanced both linguistic proficiency and cultural understanding. I am motivated by a deep commitment to student success, and I believe that every learner can unlock their potential through tailored support and encouragement. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about community health outreach and volunteer projects that promote preventive care and wellness. I also love teaching languages and culture; as an Arabic instructor, I enjoyed helping students connect language learning with real-world communication. Staying active is important to me, so I make time for fitness, running, and the gym, and I also enjoy golf and outdoor activities. Creativity plays a role in my life too: I explore reading, writing, and mentoring as ways to share knowledge and grow with others.
