Supporting students as they grow into confident, capable learners is at the heart of why I love education. I'm passionate about helping students reach their full potential by building strong academic foundations and encouraging a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.

I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. My training, combined with real-world classroom experience, has equipped me to meet a wide range of learning needs. I regularly use data and observation to guide instruction, ensuring that every session is tailored to where a student is and where they want to go.

I have experience teaching both third and fifth grade, which has given me a deep understanding of the academic transitions students face throughout elementary school. My instruction is grounded in the belief that students thrive when learning is engaging, individualized, and rooted in clear, meaningful goals. I specialize in reading and mathtwo areas where I've seen students make the biggest strides with the right support. I especially enjoy finding ways to make complex concepts accessible and fun, whether it's through hands-on math activities or interactive reading strategies. I am LETRS-trained, which has strengthened my ability to deliver research-based literacy instruction that meets students where they are and helps them grow as readers.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy gardening, crafting, yoga and watching sports.
