I am a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in both English Writing and Hispanic Studies. I also have been raised within a bilingual education system consisting of Spanish and English most of my life, having studied and lived in Mexico for over two decades. I've worked as a tutor for Illinois Wesleyan University for over four years. There, I found my passion in teaching Spanish grammatical, conversational, and cultural skills and mentoring students with written English assignments at the college level in various fields. Those assignments included pretty much everything, from pieces of creative fiction, academic essays, and even cover letters. This flexibility also extends to my tutoring philosophy. I believe that every student has a unique perspective and way in which to learn, and that tutoring particularly allows for that.
