After getting my BA in Cinema Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, I have been a private tutor for learners of all ages and nationalities over the last decade. I have taught one-on-one, as well as in groups at tutoring centers. I teach ELA, math, test prep, and writing skills, with my favorite subject being writing. My personal philosophy for tutoring is to help each student find their passion for learning, and always trying to relate the material to what my students' hobbies and interests are. I love helping others learn, and strive to make each student succeed beyond their expectations.

I am an avid reader, focusing on fiction books that are more grounded in reality. I also have been learning Portuguese daily, which has been hard but is very rewarding. I am a big traveler and have actually spent 5 years on a round-the-world backpacking trip across Europe and Asia.
