Certified Tutor

I'm a dynamic educator who thrives on relationships with my students and creative approaches to help people succeed.

I have worked with students of all ages across many educational settings and spaces since early in my life and the beginning of my career as a classroom teacher in public, private, and international schools, and as a resource teacher for one-on-one and small groups, both online and in-person.

Along with a Master's in Elementary Education from the University of Colorado, I also hold a Teaching English as a Foreign Language Certification from International TEFL Acadamy, and am certified as a structured literacy and multi-sensory instructor through the Academic Language Therapy Association.

I am a lifelong learner and continue to expand my teaching through best practices and relationship-based learning. I tutor in reading, writing, and English, as well as elementary math and some other combinations based on my skillset and experience.

I enjoy teaching people based on their interests and getting to know their learning styles and help them to understand how they learn best. Teaching metacognition is pivotal in today's learning landscape, and I weave it into my teaching whenever I can.
