Certified Tutor

As an educator, I bring a holistic approach to the classroom, blending experience from military, law enforcement, and academic research to address each student as a whole. My Integrative Total Student Pedagogy is based on earlier research with cancer patients, where focusing on both mental and physical wellness significantly improved outcomes. I carry this approach into education to support students' mental health, physical needs, learning styles, and external circumstances. Alongside my service dog, Gen. Douglas MacArthur, we are dedicated to nurturing students' growth, resilience, and readiness for life in and beyond the classroom. I have my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas, my Master of Arts in Theological Ethics from Columbia Theological, post-graduate work from the Alden March Bioethics Institute at Albany Medical College in upstate New York, and my Doctor of Education from Liberty University (all but dissertation). I am passionate about helping students at all levels better understand the content they desire to learn.

I'm a proud Texas sports fan, cheering on the Texas Longhorns, Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, and Texas Rangers. Beyond the games, I enjoy unwinding with a good book or documentary and, most importantly, spending quality time with my wife and two kids. I am passionate about reading non-fiction books and comparing them to movies made from the same information. Investigation of the truth is at the core of who I am.
