From a young age, I've had a passion for helping students realize their potential. I believe that education is one of the most powerful tools to shape a person's future. I have worked with students of various ages and backgrounds, and each experience has transformed my way of teaching and understanding each student's uniqueness. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Medellin, Colombia, and an NC Teaching license from East Carolina University. I have been a Spanish teacher for the past 12 years, from elementary to high school. My teaching philosophy focuses on the curiosity and engagement in students within the material they have to learn. I want to ensure my students feel that they are in a safe, and free environment where they can express themselves.
